Dr Rachel Fletcher, BDS MFDS RCS(Ed).
Principle Dentist and Owner
Dr Rachel Fletcher is a general dental practitioner who is passionate about bringing quality, light hearted and engaging dental care to the local community.
Dr Rachel has been living and working in the Northern Beaches since 2016. Recently she decided to take the plunge and launch her own practice to continue her care of the local community and further develop her career.

Graduating from University of Bristol (UK) in 2007 she was accepted for a competitive hospital training post for the following two years in areas of Restorative dentistry, Paediatric dentistry, Oral Surgery, Oral medicine and Emergency dental care. During this time, she undertook her membership to the Royal College of Surgeons MFDS RCS (Ed).
She then went on to work in general dental practice in London treating NHS and Private patients, gaining a wealth of experience in all aspects of dental care.
She has now been working in Australia for 10 years and has been living and working in the Northern Beaches for the past seven years.
She has become a local mum to two beautiful girls. She has a great understanding of the busy lives and lifestyles of families in the area.
In her free time she can be frequently seen riding her road bike around the Northern Beaches and beyond, or just simply hanging out with the kids at the beach.
Dr Lauren Waite, BDS HONS (Bristol), MFDS (RCS ED)
Dentist
Dr Lauren Waite relocated to Australia in 2009 after gaining her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Honours) qualification from the University of Bristol in 2007. She then went onto obtain a post graduate VT training in Scotland followed by the Diploma for the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) swith the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Lauren worked in both general practice and in the community sector (which included Paediatric, Geriatric and Special care dentistry) while she was living in Edinburgh, Scotland before moving to Australia in 2009.
In addition, Lauren carried out voluntary dental aid work in Peru and Argentina, which she found very rewarding, and aims to do more ofin the future.
Her main professional remit lies within providing general dentistry to families and individuals alike. She prides herself on ethical and holistic dentistry. Fully appreciating that patients are individuals who require tailored treatment to their specific requirements and what they feel comfortable with.
She has an interest in aesthetic dentistry including crown and bridges, restoration of implants and adult orthodontics with aligners. She also enjoys treating children and the elderly.
Lauren actively participates in regular continual professional development. Enrolling in seminars and courses relevant to her dental practice and is currently a member of a local study group. As well as this, she is a member of AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency), MWDSG (Manly Warringah Dental Study Group) and RCS of Ed (Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh).
Lauren has been a Northern beaches resident for 15 years now and is a busy mum to a 10 year old girl and 2 year old active boy. When not spending time with her family she enjoys running, swimming, yoga and pilates. Her other interests include Spanish, meditation, reading, cooking and bush walking.
Hazel Macfarlane
Practice Manager
Hazel is originally from England, but now has been calling the beautiful Northern Beaches home for the past nine years.
Hazel has 14 years’ experience as a dental nurse, both in Australia and the UK. She has undertaken her nursing qualification has specialised experience in orthodontic and endodontics.

When She is not working you will find her either snorkeling, free diving or hiking with a camera in hand, in the mountains.
Sarah O’Brien
Oral Health Therapist
Sarah is an Oral Health Therapist who prides herself on creating a positive patient experience, prioritising comfort and empathy.
Throughout her studies at the University of Sydney, Sarah gained extensive experience in public health, treating both paediatric and adult patients.

Her clinical skills include oral health promotion, comprehensive exams and cleanings, treatment planning, preventive care, gum disease management, and restorative dentistry.
Sarah had the opportunity to refine her skills through placements in diverse dental settings across Sydney, including Westmead, Nepean Hospital, Sydney Dental Hospital, and Awabakal Aboriginal Medical Services. She also gained valuable paediatric experience through her involvement in the NSW Health Mobile Dental Van Program, providing oral health screenings, education, and promotion in schools around Sydney.
Her practice philosophy is centred on delivering high-quality dental care in a nurturing, non-judgmental, and safe environment for all patients.
Outside of her dental practice, Sarah spends her time hiking, surfing, cooking, and trying new things!!
Monique
Dental Assistant
Monique is a local to Freshwater and has always called Freshwater home. She has over 7 years experience as a dental assistant, and has spent most of that time working along side Rachel. Monique plans to officially get her certification in dental assisting in the near future.

Mikaela is a dental assistant with 15 years experience in and around Sydney. She has specialized experience in implant surgeries, Invisalign and veneers and worked in variety practices over the years. When she is not here you will find her down at one of the local beaches enjoying the beautiful area we live in.
